What is self-regulation?
Self-regulation is the opportunity to choose, through a myriad of tools, to upshift when depressed or to downshift when stressed/overwhelmed. It is the ability to adjust your mind and body to get out of pain, increase your energy levels, get better sleep, perform better in sports, reach the weight you desire, be more present in relationships, or change anything in your life.
Utilizing our brilliant physiology we can command a shift in mental and emotional states so that we don't get stuck in less than desirable situations like getting fired because our productivity is low or dropping out of college or a competitive sport because we cannot tolerate the challenge. With this awareness, absolutely anything is possible.
How it works:
Before your appointment fill out a form to describe your history, your current condition, what you have tried previously, and your goal(s). Your coach will sit with you to formulate a plan before guiding you through some practices and offering you a weekly schedule of practices to integrate at Evolve Human Optimization Labs and at home.

Alex Villegas is a shamanic practitioner and self-regulation coach. He is the founder and executive director of FirstMemory, a diverse collaboration of professionals dedicated to the integrative and holistic treatment of personal and collective trauma. As a space holder and guide for overcoming trauma, he integrates physical training, subconscious reprogramming, sacred events, and shamanic practices into contemporary self-regulating healing systems.
Desiree Saltkill
Desiree is a personal trainer, nutrition coach, biohacker, and ceremonialist specializing in self-regulation for empowerment. After overcoming chronic illness and breaking the record as the first woman to pass the arduous work capacity test for the Search and Rescue team in the Georgia State Defense Force she continues to push her potential physically and mentally. As a carrier of several Peruvian shamanic lineages, she co-led the creation of an intentional community and healing center in Atlanta, GA, where she led group and individual healing ceremonies. She is trained in several reality-based martial arts and loves tactical shooting, sprinting, and disappearing into the wild.
